Its been sometime since the last post! Blame it to my work. Went to a few food tasting / reviews.. and.. from now on, will post about it one by one..
Continue from the previous post, after we left Alice's book launching event, we went to Prince Hotel KL for a food tasting for media & bloggers.
I met their marketing, Ms.Jamie Leong who is kind to guide me throughout the event plus explain on the specialty that night.. They setup few kiosks for each restaurant in the hall...

Rendang - very rich in flavour...

Turkey and 2 gloomy chefs - preparing the stuffed turkey dish

Master chef from Enju - preparing handrolled temaki, IMHO, its one of the best i ever tried. Everything is fresh, and the seaweed is just crispy and excellent; definitely will back for more!
It's funny that he keep reminding people to eat it quickly everytime he handed over a temaki .. the reason? yeah, so the seaweed nori won't lose the crispness as it absorbs moisture from the rice and fillings.. sweet.

There's 1 part where the helper took the plate to refill the food, and someone walked past, saw the little crabs in a small cup which supposedly is a holder/display and thought it is edible, and took the small crab and have a bite.. funny thing is, she bite on it and spit it out, then ask the chef; what is the dish about.. priceless expression.. yeap, i was standing there, enjoying my 2nd temaki.. :)

Assorted sushi's and california rolls...

Not to miss - ginger bread house! Since Christmas is coming, there's assorted of cookies & pastries for us to try.. for me, nothing to shout here.. basically the same everywhere i think.
Four Seasons Dumplings from Tai Zi Heen -
Each represents each season. Can you guess which color goes to which season?

White - The normal version
Green - Green Tea flavoured (excellent - love the green tea taste on the skin with fresh filling inside. )
Orange - Pumpkin - very mild pumpkin taste
Black - Squid-inked with Gold dust particles. The chef told me gold dust is good for our human body... really?
AND THE BEST DISH THAT NIGHT (drums) ...
Crispy Prawns ; an award winning dish (M-IGF 2007) from Tai Zi Heen - So good, a must try. Simple and delicious. Crispy & crunchy. Lightly tossed with mayonese and sesame, with natural sweetness and the firm meat of the prawns. Confirm fresh!
and of course, the temaki as well!
